Both trainer John Gosden and jockey Kieran Shoemark believe that she needed the run and are expecting a much better performance at Royal Ascot, where she will be competing over 10 furlongs instead of her initial target of the Queen Anne over a mile.
Richardson, the managing director of Cheveley Park Stud, is looking forward to seeing how Inspiral performs. He acknowledges that it will be a tough race, with Auguste Rodin as the favourite, but is excited about the competition.
