Richard O'Brien aims to set Feud to return at Tipperary

Richard O'Brien's Feud, who impressed with a win in a novice hurdle at the Galway Festival, is scheduled to return at Tipperary on October 6th.

Before his Galway victory, Feud had secured his maiden hurdle win at Listowel by six and a half lengths. He also claimed a Flat handicap victory at Haydock last year under his previous trainer, Ralph Beckett.

O'Brien told Racing TV: "We’re aiming for Tipperary on October 6th. He’s been doing well and has been having an easy time, but he’ll start back training tomorrow (Monday). I’m very pleased with him."

O'Brien added, “We’re putting plans for the Flat on hold for now. I’m not entirely sure if it’s the right decision, but I want to see how he performs over hurdles before considering a return to the Flat. I don't want to complicate things.”
