Palladium, owned by Liberty Racing, recently won the German Derby, following in the footsteps of Fantastic Moon. Despite being a rank outsider, Palladium, trained by Henk Grewe and ridden by jockey Thore Hammer Hansen, made a bold move in the home straight to win the Group One contest by a neck. Owner Lars-Wilhelm Baumgarten expressed his excitement and hinted at future plans for Palladium, potentially including the Prix Niel in Longchamp.
Meanwhile, Fantastic Moon returned to form with a win at the Group Two Grosser Preis der Badischen Wirtschaft in Cologne. Plans for Fantastic Moon include the Grosser Dallmayr-Preis followed by a possible run in the Juddmonte International and another shot at the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. Baumgarten is grateful for the success of both horses and looks forward to their future races.
