Mill Stream will face 13 rivals at Ascot

Jane Chapple-Hyam's Mill Stream will be competing against 13 rivals in an attempt to win his first Group One race in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes on the final day of Royal Ascot. The four-year-old previously won a Group Three race in France and a Group Two race at York in a close finish, making this next challenge a natural progression for him.

Richard Hannon's Shouldvebeenaring and Kevin Ryan's Washington Heights, who both closely trailed Mill Stream at York, will also be competing in the race. Last year's surprise winner Khaadem returns for Charlie Hills, along with Mitbaahy, who recently won a race in Ireland thanks to a skilled ride from Jamie Spencer. Other contenders include Believing, Kinross, Shartash, and The Wizard Of Eye.

Continuous, the winner of last year's St Leger, will make his comeback in the Hardwicke Stakes alongside eight other competitors. Desert Hero, a previous winner at the event, is looking to recover from a disappointing race at Newbury in May. John and Thady Gosden's Middle Earth, winner of the Newbury race, is a strong contender in the upcoming event.

In the Jersey Stakes, Haatem from the Hannon stable, known for placing in the English and Irish Guineas, will be competing for new owners Wathnan Racing. The race will feature 20 competitors, including Frankel's half-brother Kikkuli and Sir Michael Stoute's Never So Brave, ridden by Saffie Osborne.

The Chesham race will have 18 entries, with Aidan O'Brien's Bedtime Story as the favourite. Last year's winner Saint Lawrence aims for another victory in the Wokingham Stakes.
