Khaadem is set to compete in the My Pension Expert July Cup after securing his second victory in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot. Last year, the eight-year-old surprised everyone with an 80-1 win, but this time he was a 14-1 favourite with jockey Oisin Murphy.
After his success at Royal Ascot, Khaadem will follow a similar path to last year, heading to Newmarket if the conditions are right for him. Trainer Charlie Hills is pleased with his horse's performance and is hopeful for another strong showing.
In addition to Khaadem, Hills is also looking forward to the return of Cicero's Gift, who has been sidelined for over a year. Despite a disappointing finish in last year's St James’s Palace Stakes, Cicero's Gift has shown promise in his training and holds entries for upcoming races at Sandown and Goodwood.
Hills is cautious about the ground conditions and wants to ensure Cicero's Gift is ready for a successful comeback. He is confident in the horse's abilities and is excited to see him back on the track after a period of patient rehabilitation.
