Timeform highlights six horses. They significantly improved their ratings and solidified their Cheltenham Festival claims. They did so with victories over the weekend.
1. Sir Gino (143p from 132p):
Sir Gino triumphed in the Triumph Trial Juvenile Hurdle. He displayed a remarkable performance, like past champions Fakir d'Oudairies and Defi du Seuil. Dominating the race, he outpaced previous Triumph favourite Burdett Road by ten lengths. His strong and confident run positions him as a top contender against Ireland's best at the Dublin Racing Festival.
2. Ginny's Destiny (157p from 151p):
Paul Nicholls' Ginny's Destiny won again at Cheltenham. It was his third win in a row. He won in the Timeform Novices' Handicap Chase. Excelling in top weight and showcasing superb jumping skills, he is now a strong candidate for the Turners at the Festival. His straightforward and flawless performance sets him apart. This is especially true compared to the ante-post favorite Gaelic Warrior.
3. Lossiemouth (154p from 150p):
Returning Triumph Hurdle winner, Lossiemouth delivered an impressive victory in the International Hurdle. Demonstrating remarkable speed in a slow-paced race, she is a likely contender for the Champion Hurdle. However, given the presence of stablemates in the same race, she may instead focus on the Mares' Hurdle.
4. Jade de Grugy (135P from 129P):
Jade de Grugy won the Solerina Mares Novice Hurdle at Fairyhouse. She is from Willie Mullins' stable. The win confirmed her as a top competitor for the Dawn Run at the Festival. Maintaining her unbeaten streak, she showed great promise for higher-grade races.
5. Embassy Gardens (154p from 149P):
Embassy Gardens made a solid impression in the Naas Novice Chase. He outperformed his rivals, showing his potential for the National Hunt Chase. He was already better at jumping fences than at hurdling. He showed his skill and stamina.
6. Jasmin de Vaux (107p):
The weekend ended well. Jasmin de Vaux, another of Willie Mullins' trainees, won dominantly. This makes her a strong Champion Bumper contender. She won the Naas bumper. Displaying strength and skill, he has quickly become a favourite for the Champion Bumper.
These six horses have boosted their profiles a lot. They are now critical contenders to watch at the upcoming Cheltenham Festival.
