Clive Cox is eager to get Jasour back in action after recovering from a gallop accident that sidelined him.
The speedy son of Havana Grey, who won the July Stakes at two and placed in this year's Commonwealth Cup, was set to drop to five furlongs for the King George Stakes at Goodwood but missed the race due to injury.
Jasour is now preparing for a return next month, with options including the Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh on September 15 or the Betfair Sprint Cup at Haydock on September 7.
"The setback before Goodwood was unfortunate, but he’s in good shape now," said Cox. "He’s entered in both the Haydock sprint and the Flying Five. We’ll decide based on the weather and his condition."
Cox is also optimistic about James’s Delight, who narrowly missed a hat-trick in the Prix de Meautry at Deauville. The Invincible Army colt has enjoyed a strong season with four wins and has proven himself at Group level. With autumn approaching, Cox is hopeful for more success on soft ground.
"He ran a big race in Deauville and is in good form," Cox added. "We’re looking forward to exciting targets this autumn."
