Trainer James Owen is considering entering Burdett Road in the Unibet Hurdle and the Triumph Trial Hurdle on January 27, as well as the Grade 1 Spring Juvenile at Leopardstown. Despite holding an entry in the Champion Hurdle, Burdett Road will focus on the juvenile division at the festival.
Owen mentioned that ground conditions would influence their decision but emphasized that heavy ground is not preferable for Burdett Road. The horse had previously missed a race at Chepstow due to unsuitable ground conditions. Owen expressed satisfaction with Burdett Road's training and looks forward to his upcoming races.
