Horse Racing Ireland has officially announced the rescheduling of the Clonmel meeting, originally set for today but called off due to a waterlogged track. The event is now slated to take place on Thursday, March 7.
Fresh entries for this meeting will be accepted until noon tomorrow, Friday, March 1, while declarations for participation must be submitted by 10 am on Tuesday, March 5.
The race lineup remains largely unchanged, save for the removal of the 3-mile 80-95 handicap hurdle from the schedule. To compensate, a new 2-mile 80-95 handicap hurdle has been introduced to the Clonmel card. Racing enthusiasts will still be able to catch a similar event at Limerick on Sunday, March 10, featuring a 2-mile 6-furlong 80-95 handicap hurdle.
