Clive Cox is hoping to increase his number of Royal Ascot victories with a strong team of horses set to compete at the upcoming meeting. With Jasour entering the Commonwealth Cup and Kerdos in the King Charles III Stakes, Cox's sprinting arsenal looks impressive once again.
Cox also highlighted a couple of promising handicappers in his squad, emphasising the importance of not underestimating his juvenile contenders after the surprise victory of Nando Parrado in the Coventry Stakes four years ago.
“It’s really satisfying to have a strong team heading to the event,” Cox commented. “We have Kerdos, the Temple winner, and Diligent Harry both set to compete in the King Charles. Throughout the week, we have Cracking Gold in the Britannia, Kingdom Come in the Hunt Cup, and some talented two-year-olds to watch out for. Star Anthem is expected to participate in the Coventry, with further entries to be confirmed based on ground conditions. We have some exciting prospects to look forward to, and it's encouraging to see them in good form.”
