The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has officially confirmed the inclusion of an All-Weather event at Southwell on Thursday, 15 February.
In light of the predicted adverse weather conditions that could potentially disrupt the three scheduled Jump fixtures on that particular afternoon, a proactive decision has been made to introduce an extra All-Weather fixture.
This newly added fixture, featuring six races during the afternoon session, holds the potential for expansion to eight races if necessary. Entry submissions for the upcoming Southwell fixture will conclude on Tuesday, 13 February, followed by declaration submissions within 24 hours.
The BHA expresses its sincere appreciation to the Horserace Betting Levy Board for their substantial contribution towards the prize money allocation for this supplementary gathering. Consequently, jockey declarations for the Chelmsford City meeting on the same day will experience a 24-hour delay
