Bluestocking, trained by Ralph Beckett, secured her first Group One victory in Ireland last weekend and is now aiming for the Nassau Stakes and Yorkshire Oaks. After a strong start to her four-year-old campaign in the Middleton Stakes at York, Bluestocking displayed both talent and tenacity to win the Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh, defeating Emily Upjohn.
Barry Mahon, Juddmonte's European racing manager, confirmed that Bluestocking is in good form and is likely to target major races at Goodwood and York later in the summer. Nostrum, another Juddmonte homebred trained by Sir Michael Stoute, also showed promise in the Criterion Stakes at Newmarket after a period of setbacks and was gelded over the winter.
Mahon expressed optimism about Nostrum's performance and believes that he is ready to return to top form. Nostrum finished second in the Criterion Stakes and Mahon mentioned that there are plenty of options for his next race, including the Lennox Stakes at Goodwood. He emphasised the importance of letting Sir Michael and the horse dictate the timing of their next race and expressed confidence that Nostrum is on track for success after a positive showing in his recent race.
