On Thursday Northern Symphonie competes in the day's final event, the bumper, after two promising starts. On her debut in December at Newbury, she secured a second-place finish in a competitive bumper despite being outpaced by a notably superior winner. Her performance was commendable, making up significant ground in the final stages to clinch second.
However, her follow-up race in Class 2 at Warwick could have been more impressive, finishing seventh and never posing a threat, trailing significantly throughout.
Given her pedigree, Northern Symphonie has the potential for success in bumpers, being kin to several Flat race winners. Returning to her debut form could position her for a standout performance, though she must rebound from her latest showing.
