George Boughey has confirmed that Believing, his star sprinter, will be running in the Barberstown Castle Sapphire Stakes with Ryan Moore as her jockey. The four-year-old has been performing well in top sprinting contests, recently winning the Achilles Stakes at Haydock. Despite not winning at Royal Ascot, she finished fourth in both the King Charles III Stakes and Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes, enhancing her reputation.
Believing will now be racing in the Curragh Group Two on Saturday, reverting to the minimum trip. Boughey is pleased to have booked Moore for the ride, stating that she is in good shape and has come out of Royal Ascot well. He believes she has a good chance in the upcoming race and is confident in her abilities.
