A horse racing fan wins a huge £110,000 jackpot when Frankie Dettori picks six winners in a row

Frankie Dettori has earned an impressive £110,880 for one lucky bettor by winning six consecutive races in the United States.

Dettori, 56, showcased his timeless talent on Santa Anita Derby Day, bringing back memories of his remarkable achievement at Ascot in 1996. That day, Dettori is believed to have caused British bookmakers to lose a staggering £40 million.

He had intended to retire last year but instead chose to stay in the United States - and he's already making significant progress. A single bettor placed a £1 wager on each of Dettori's six victorious horses, with odds of 11/4, 6/1, 12/1, 9/2, 10/1, and 10/3. As luck would have it, their initial odds shifted, resulting in a handsome £110,880 payout from Ladbrokes.

According to Nicola McGeady from Ladbrokes, as reported by The Sun, Frankie Dettori's nightmares seemed finally over when he retired from racing in Britain. However, it turns out we needed to be corrected. Last night in California, the Dettori drama unfolded as he achieved an incredible feat by riding six winners.

"A multitude of delighted customers, especially one specific individual, experienced the thrill of winning an astonishing £110,880 from a mere £1 wager."
